May 24 2012

Today we met around 5:15pm at our usual meeting spot and traveled to our final dinner together in London. Our dinner was at the Paramount Skyline Restaurant on the 32nd floor.
After dinner, we then traveled to Piccadilly Circus and took our photo at the statue of Eros, the god of love and sexual desire.
He is known as the oldest god according to some mythical legends, and he is believed to be the offspring of Aphrodite and Ares. Eros is often depicted as a small boy with a bow and arrow and wings and he is also depicted as a young handsome man with a bow and arrow and wings.
Eros usually carries two kinds of arrows. One is the golden arrow with the dove feathers which causes love in a person’s heart and arouses sexual feelings. The other is the lead arrow with the feathers of the owl which is known to cause indifferences. Eros was believed to be very cruel to his victims.

After our last tube ride from Piccadilly Circus, we decided to stop for ice cream at a local Baskin Robins before we all dispersed to do our own thing for the rest of the nite before our long travels from London back to the United States, tomorrow morning.
