Hey everyone! My name is Claire Ariglio '14, and I am super excited about being able to go to the UK this year. I'm a Business Administration and Accounting major with a minor in Economics. My hobbies and pasttimes include singing, reading, watching TV and movies, and shopping (which I cannot wait to do a lot of on our trip!) Some other places I am excited to see when I am in the UK are Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Big Ben, and all of the beautiful castles. I chose to study abroad in the UK because I have always wanted to go to Europe and felt like I am not going to get another opportunity like this one. I also can't wait to experience the culture and learn about English history. I am very lucky to be having this experience with Professor Wolfe. Her thoroughness and bubbly personality are going to give me the best experience abroad I could hope for. Cheers!

Inspiration(s)?
“Holding hands may seem like an innocent gesture, but they show more than a simple interlocking of fingers. Your hands are one of the most essential parts of your body: you build with them, feed with them, hold with them, touch with them, fight with them; they are the tools of the human body. To take a hold of another’s hand is to break from living individually. It is to link yourself to another being, to momentarily entwine your life with another’s, to promise, for a moment, that you need not face the world alone. More simple, more aesthetically naive than other forms of affection, i.e kissing, hugging, sexing.., the act of holding hands is often trivialized in its true implications”. ~Unknown

“Nobody’s just one thing, you can be anything you want to be.”
-The Smurfs

“No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist.”
-Oscar Wilde

“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

-Dr.Seuss

“The world will tell you who you are, until you tell the world.”
